| Postdoctoral
fellows are an integral part of the Department of Physiology. Although
their primary focus is training in the research laboratories of individual
Physiology faculty members, the postdoctoral fellows contribute to
other Departmental activities and often are key bridge builders through
collaborative research projects. In addition to the career development
opportunities in their mentor's lab, postdoctoral fellows are offered
a variety of career enhancing programs through the Program
in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS).
