Cellular and Molecular Basis of Systems
and Integrative Biology:

Requirements

Course Work:

Integrative Biology:
Principles of Systems and Integrative Physiology (eg. Phys 510)
Integrative Genomics (Phys 555)

Cell and Molecular Biology:
Cell Physiology or Cell Biology (eg. Phys 576-577-578 or CDB 530)
Biological Chemistry (eg. Bchm 550)
Molecular Genetics (eg. HG 541)

Seminar Course:
A student seminar course in a Ph.D. program (eg. Phys 606)

Thesis Research:
Thesis research requires a mentor from the training faculty and a co-mentor to provide intellectual and technical training from two research laboratories that use different approaches.

Research Forum:
Trainees have an opportunity to present their research each year at the annual research forum. Students invite a keynote speaker and there is an opportunity for students to give a short oral presentation or a poster presentation.
