Needle and syringe are supported by a mechanical arm posterior to the sternum.

Ultrasound probe is supported by a mechanical arm over the heart.

The heart is place in the field of view and specific landmarks are identified.

The needle is then introduced into the myocardium and injected with adnovirus.

A successful injection is evident as demonstrated above
