Our Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology is built on the
proud history of more than 125 years, making it one of the oldest
departments of physiology in the United States. Our mission is to
enhance understanding of the function of molecules, cells, tissues and organisms with an emphasis on their relation to human biology and
medicine; and to contribute to the training of the next generation of research scientists, physicians and educators.

Systems Biology Symposium
"Celebrating the Diversity of Contemporary Integrative Biology"
Tuesday, December 1st, 2009
Biomedical Science Research Building Auditorium

Graduate Education Fund
To provide financial support in perpetuity for graduate education in Molecular and Integrative Physiology. These funds will be used to propel the development of future generations of biomedical researchers, many of whom will study the mechanistic underpinnings of human diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and obesity.
